The company had major operational and administrative issues. They needed not only a CFO but improved accounting, information technology and human resources processes and procedures. Acting as an interim CFO, we assisted the client implement the core infrastructure needed to improve performance while reducing risk. We reported directly to the board of directors.
After the immediate turnaround efforts, we re-organized the administration function, improved cash flows, reduced costs, created company-wide dashboard reporting, deployed systems in the place of manual processes, implemented efficient internal controls, enhanced the sales and marketing functions and assisted in culture change management. We continued to assist as advisors through the successful transition of the new management team.
